遂に解禁！ワインを表す新ドメイン「.wine」と「.vin」の一般登録を開始

　新ドメイン(新gTLD)「.moe」、「.osaka」、「.earth」を運営する、インターネットサービスプロバイダーの株式会社インターリンク（東京都豊島区、代表取締役:横山正）は、ドメイン取得サービス「ゴンベエドメイン」にて、「.wine」と「.vine」(フランス語でワイン)の一般登録受付を開始致しました。2014年5月、カリフォルニア州選出民主党下院議員マイク・トムソン氏は、転売目的のドメイン名占拠を防ぐため、「.vin」と「.wine」 を「いかなる申請者」にも割当てないように要請した書簡をICANNへ送り、同年6月には欧州、米国、オーストラリアのワインメーカーが「.vin」と「.wine」を、新たなドメインとして追加されることに反対する姿勢を示しました。このような反対があったにもかかわらず、サンライズ(※1)期間に「.wine」は約700件、「.vin」は約500件の申請がありました。既に多くのサイトが「.wine」や「.vin」を運用しています。申請にあたっては、審査や取得条件は無く、法人、個人も問いません。ゴンベエドメインは今後も新ドメインを順次追加して参ります。ご期待ください。
　
(※1)サンライズ…一般登録期間に先立ち、商標や商号を保有する「商標権者」のみを対象とした優先登録期間です。ドメインにおける商標保護を目的として設けられています。同一の文字列(ドメイン名)に複数の申請が確認された場合、オークションによって所有権が決まります。
