【TechCrunh50】 応募書類を書こう！

先日 Apple から届いていたiPhone Developers Program エントリー確認メールへの返信ファックスをようやく送りました。

そしてTech 50エントリーの準備も開始しました。Googleで調べてみると、Tech 50エントリーについて触れている日本語ブログが他に無いようなので、ここで適宜取り上げたいと思っています。

今回は応募書類についてです。詳しくは、日本版TechCrundhおよび米国TechCrunchの該当ページをご覧になってください。

情報は常にアップデートされる可能性があります。また、ここで紹介している内容が間違っている可能性もあります。

TechCrunch 50 概要：

去年初めて開催されたこのカンファンレスは、参加企業の費用がゼロという点で（対して、同じくスタートアップにデモの場を提供する『Demo Fall』への参加費用は約200万円）、業界の常識を揺るがし大反響を呼ぶ結果となりました。

去年の応募企業は約750社、そのうち40社ステージ上でのデモンストレーションのチャンスを獲得し、100社が隣接会場でのデモンストレーション「DemoPit」のカクテルテーブルを手にしました（Demopit会場の写真はこちら）。

そして、Demopitの企業100社のうち参加者からの投票により、１社が敗者復活選としてステージチャンスを得ています。

企業として参加申し込みする方：

◆開催日と時間：米国時間　2008年9月8日（月）〜9月10日（水）

◆会場：「San Francisco Design Center Concourse」

◆参加企業締め切り：　PDT 6月27日（金）の深夜　[日本時間：6月28日（土）16:00まで]

◆50社選抜発表：8月1日（金）

【参加ルール】

* 当日のステージでは、初めてサービスの一般公開をする。ただし、アルファ版・ベータ版として、ログイン・パスワード保護により一部のユーザーにテスト目的で公開（クローズド・ベータ/アルファ版の状態）しているのは良い。

*　カンファレンス前に、メディアを対象にサービスのデモなどしてはいけない。

*　9月8日（月）にTechCrunchより参加企業50社の発表があるまでは、選抜されたことを公言してはいけない。

これ以外にはルールはない。地理的にも、ビジネスカテゴリの制限もない。どのビジネス・ステージにあるかも関係ない。
どんな形であろうと、素晴らしいインターネット・イノベーションを披露したいだけ。

コンシューマー、エンタープライズ、モバイル。そしてローカルやインターナショナルからの応募、それに資金援助の有るビジネスから無いビジネスまでバランスよく均等に選抜をし、包括的なアジェンダを提供できるようにしたいとおもいます。

【応募要項】

．基本企業情報（企業ロゴ、住所、連絡先、創設者、従業員数、資金調達額、インベスター名など）

．他、デモサイトのアクセスURL、サービス詳細のプレゼンテーション（３つまで添付可）、ビデオ（60秒、もしくは15MBまで）の添付が可能。

．サービスの詳細（どんなソリューションを提供して、どの辺りが画期的など）最大500文字

．ビジネスモデル詳細

．競合　（競合サービスの列挙と、どう差別化されているか）

．公開予定のサービス・機能：Techcrunch50は新サービス、もしくは新機能の初の一般公開を披露する場（launch platform）です。Techcrunch50のファイナリストとして選択された際に、どんなサービス・機能を公表する予定ですか？

　また、Techcrunch50が、貴社のビジネス開発軌道においてどのように重要な役目を担うかも追加ください。

Our advisory panel is comprised of topical experts who may provide us with feedback about your company to assist with our finalist selection process.

The advisory panel will review all applications on a confidential basis, exclusively for the purpose of considering your participation in TechCrunch50. If you would like us to keep your information completely confidential and share it only with the core TechCrunch50 team, we'll respect that request.

You may also request that just a portion of your application be held back from the panel or from certain advisors. Narrowing the people who may review your application may lower your chances of being accepted because fewer people will be able to review the application, but we will honor your choice.
